Bench Tailor, Peter Frew
Tailoring has always been a part of Peter Frew's life growing up. Most of his childhood clothes were tailor made, mainly because his mother considered it durable and she enjoyed dictating the specifics of each garment.
In 1995, Peter began his first apprenticeship with the local tailor right after high school. Mr. Jahro, a former Savile Row tailor, guided Peter under his umbrella to learn the art of constructing all aspects of men's suit, overcoat, waistcoat, etc. Peter was afterwards encouraged by Mr. Jahro to establish himself abroad. He shortly embarked a trip to New York to join his fiancé who was already living there knowing the latter would be more appealing.
Arriving in New York unestablished, he began working in different tailoring houses but was never satisfied. He saw the need for higher quality garments that are cut and constructed to the highest standard so Peter decided to start a company on his own account in 2007. Archangelo Sartorial would serve clients with authentic garments without compromise on quality and fit.
